Glasgow Prestwick airport serves the entire West
of Scotland. The airport has its own railway station with quick
check-in capability. There is on site car parking and reserved car
parking too and the airport serves British locations as well as
European ones and of late It has a started flights to Montego Bay
in Jamaica as well.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
The airport information desk is on the ground floor, at the entrance
to domestic arrivals and is open for all flights. There are computer
information kiosks on the ground floor providing tourist and accommodation
information.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money and communications:
The airport has bureaux de change, ATMs, situated in the main terminal
building adjacent to the entrance to departures and is available
to both arriving and departing passengers
Eating and drinking:
The food village is open through the night for Tea/Coffee and cold
snacks.
Shopping: Shopping includes duty-free. The airport
is open 24hours; however, the shops and bars are closed through
the night and reopen again at 5am.
Parking:
The airport has 2 short stay car parks and 2 long stay car parks.
The short stay car parks are walking distance from the terminal
while a courtesy shuttle bus services the longer stay car parks.
Travelers are advised to advance book the longer stay car parks
at least 24 hours before arriving but this is not required for the
short stay car parks.
Other facilities: These include a pharmacy, baby
care facilities and children’s play areas.

Facilities include Wheelchair push and provision is available free

Airport is equipped with a range of facilities designed to ensure
that our disabled passengers can gain access to all parts of the
airport without difficulty.
