to their later experimental work. Songs like "Love Me Do", "Eleanor
Rigby", "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Let It Be" remain much-loved

Croxteth Hall Country
Situated at the heart of what was once a great country estate stretching
hundreds of square miles and was the ancestral home of the Molyneux
family, the Earls of Sefton, Croxteth Hall Country Park offers bizarre
sights. It is managed by The City of Liverpool and is one of the
major heritage centers of the North West, attracting thousands of
visitors every year.
The estate has four attractions - The Historic Hall, Croxteth Home
Farm, the Victorian Walled Garden, and a 500-acre country park,
which is free. If you wish to visit the Hall, Farm, and Garden,
you can make savings with an inclusive 'Saver' ticket
Speke Hall
The famous half-timbered houses in the country, dates back to 1490.
Designed by Brunel and completed in 1864, the foundation stone was
laid in 1831 but the project was dogged with political and financial
difficulties and by 1843, with only the towers completed, the project
was abandoned.
The unique and atmospheric interior spans many periods: the Great
Hall and priest holes evoke Tudor times, while the Oak Parlour and
smaller rooms, some with William Morris wallpapers, show the Victorian
desire for privacy and comfort. There is also fine Jacobean plasterwork
and intricately carved furniture. A fully equipped Victorian kitchen
and servants’ hall enable visitors to see ‘behind the
scenes’.
Today it has become the symbol of the city. Therefore, if you happen
to be in Liverpool, then it is a must for you to visit this unique
attraction. It looks truly amazing.

In 1994, it was voted Merseyside's Tourist Attraction of the year.
Although the main attraction of the park is the Safari Drive, other
attractions include the Sea Lion and Parrot show; the Reptile House
and the Children's Farm.
