Liverpool
airport is located southeast of the city, next to the River Mersey.
If you are traveling from the city center, take the A561 towards
Runcorn and follow the signs to the airport. From the M56, cross
over the river at Runcorn on the A557 and follow the A561 signs
to the airport. From Warrington take the A road to Widnes and then
get onto the A561 turning off onto Speke Hall Avenue and follow
signs to the airport. Short and long term parking is available
Money:
Bureau de change, 24-hour cash machines (ATMs) and postal facilities
There are four Travelex outlets throughout the terminal:
- Opposite the easyJet check-in desks on the main concourse
- On level 3 immediately after the escalator up
- In the main baggage collection area
- In the arrivals concourse.
Eating:
Restaurants, cafés, fast food outlets, and bars, Aintree
Food Village / Burger King and The Estuary Bar are situated. Aintree
food village sells a wide range of cold and hot food and drink.
It is also a great place to pick up a tea or coffee.
Shopping:
Several large shops selling newspapers, books, confectionary, and
snacks
Business facilities:
The airport has a business centre, the Cavern Suite is available
for hire for meetings. It can handle up to 25 delegates board style
and up to 80 theatre style. Catering and presentation equipment
are available if required. The room is found on Level 2 on the right
hand side
