| The airport is located 2km
(1 mile) from the Las Vegas Strip (South). Traveling from Tropicana
Hotel and Casino on the Strip, you have to take a turn south
on Paradise Road, and then follow the signs to the airport.
While if you hopping in from I-215 south, you will have to use
the Sunset/McCarran Airport off ramp to proceed through the
tunnel, and follow the signs to the airport. From Russell Road,
you will have to drive west on Russell Road past Kelly Lane,
and follow the signs to the airport.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
There are tourist information center all over the airport,
white courtesy telephones are available for after-hours assistance.
Volunteers provide a service in the Terminal 1 level 1 south
baggage reclaim area. Passengers can request information on
a range of airport facilities through the airport's website.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money and communications:
There is a full service bank and a post office. Bureaux de change,
ATMs and data port connections are available throughout the
terminal.
Eating and drinking:
There are a wide variety of facilities including 24-hour snack
bars, cocktail lounges and numerous cafés.
Shopping:
Shops and slot machines are plentiful at the airport. There
are also duty-free shops in Terminal 2.
Luggage:
Lockers are not currently available at the airport. A lost
property office is located in Terminal 1 (tel: 702 261 5134).
Trolleys and wrapping service is available.
Other facilities:
There are first aid clinic, medical and fitness centers, a
children's play area, massage and an aviation museum.
DISABLED FACILITIES
The airport is fully accessible, with disabled toilets in
both terminals. TDD phones for hearing-impaired travelers
are provided in both terminals. A TDD information line is
available (tel: 702 261 3111). Wheelchairs can be provided
(tel: 702 261 5475 or you can use a courtesy phone and dial
5475).
AIRPORT HOTELS
There are no hotels on-site at the airport. Hotels on or off
the Strip include Caesar's Palace (tel: 702 731 7110), Flamingo
Hilton (tel: 702 733 3111), Bellagio (tel: 702 693 7111), Aladdin
(tel: 702 785 5555), New York-New York (tel: 702 740 6969),
Mandalay Bay (tel: 702 632 7777), MGM Grand (tel: 702 891 1111)
and Marriott Suites (tel: 702 650 2000). Check-in services for
MGM Grand and New York-New York hotel and casino guests are
available in Terminal 1 level 1 baggage reclaim. These hotels
also offer hotel-airport luggage transfer and shuttle service
for an additional charge.
