Getting around (and to) Faro |

By taxi
Taxis are located outside the terminal building and run to
central Faro and other locations along the coast.
By car
Traveling to the airport and around the city has becoming
quite easy with a vast number of transportation available.
Some of the award-winning car hire companies run from the
airport terminal providing quality service at affordable prices.
To reach the airport from Faro, passengers can hire cars or
if driving on their own they need to follow the EN 125 route.
From there, they can follow the arrivals and departures signposts
and reach the airport.
By bus
There are several Bus services functioning outside the airport
and which travel from the airport to central Faro. Travelers
can check the timetable posted at the information desk near
the meeting point for the details and board the bus. This
is one of the cheapest ways of traveling around the city.
A daily shuttle service is also available between the airport
and the city centre.
Note: this bus doesn't run on Tuesdays. Travelers can contact
the airport in advance to ensure that the Aerobus is in service.
