When to travel
Cardiff, the capital city of Welsh welcomes visitors any time of
the year. The weather in Wales tends to be mild and variable. The
coastal areas can be very warm in the summer. For those who have

Travel Documents
Traveling to Cardiff, you must carry these documents along with
yourself, on arrival in the United Kingdom or when seeking entry
through the Channel Tunnel, you ought to produce on request by the
Immigration Officer:
- a valid national passport or other document satisfactorily
establishing his/her identity and nationality: and,
- such information as may be required to establish
whether he/she requires leave to enter the United Kingdom and,
if so, whether and on what terms leave should be given. Visa
requirements are as for the United Kingdom as a whole.

Custom Duty
Where Customs are operating a Green and Red channel system, you
have to go through the Green channel (subject to spot-checks by
a Customs officer) if you have nothing to declare over the customs
allowance for overseas visitors, the Red channel if you have goods
to declare or if you are unsure of importation restrictions.
if you are traveling to the UK directly from another EC country
you need not to go through a Red or Green channel. Most airports
have a separate EC exit. Arriving in the UK, you may be asked some
questions to help protect the UK against these things.
Out Door Entertainment
Cardiff people believe in entertainment and living life to the fullest.
There are lot of movie theaters and auditoriums that host to large
touring productions and concerts.
People are also fond of music; there are several bars and pubs playing
jazz, country, rock, and pop concerts.
Eating Out
Dining out is fun and cool, with a choice of restaurants that will
take you around the world. There are plenty of pubs, serving reasonably
priced food, and fine ale. All the restaurants offer a friendly
welcome. Pubs are permitted to open for the sale of alcoholic drinks
throughout the day, from 11.00 - 23.00 on weekdays. On Sundays,
licensing hours are 12.00 - 22.30. Persons must be 18 years or over
to buy and consume alcohol in a bar. Children under 14 years of
age are allowed into pubs, which hold a children's certificate.
They must be accompanied by an adult and are restricted to those
areas, which have been certified suitable for young children.
Shopping
The capital offers you with multitude of shopping malls and complexes
including jewellers, art galleries, craft shops, toyshops, antiques
shops, gift shops. Therefore, if you are a shopper maniac, you are
