The information counters are placed at the Arrivals and Departures
halls along with a tourist information counter in the Arrivals
hall.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money and communications:
There is a bank and a post office in the Departures area and
Bureaux de change in the Departures and Arrivals areas. ATMs
are situated throughout the airport.
Eating and drinking:
Adjacent to the Airport lobby, you can find restaurant areas
and cafes serving recreational snacks and variety of drink
both alcohol and non alcohol.
Shopping:
There are many shops, including duty-free leisure areas where
visitors can choose from the choicest of products, duty free
goods, designer costume jewellery, lingerie, fashion, collectors'
items, latest music tracks and lot more, while they are waiting
for their flight.
Luggage:
There are two new baggage reclaim carousels installed at the
arrival terminal. A left-luggage facility is also available
at the airport parking.
Cargo Facilities:
There is also a cargo terminal building of 530 square meters
which is opened from 08:00-15:00; there are Express/Courier
Centre, Air-Conditioned Storage, Refrigerated Storage, Deep
Freeze Storage, Animal Quarantine, Fresh Meat Inspection,
Livestock Handling, Very Large/Heavy Cargo, and Mechanical
Handling.

Car Parking:
The airport parking is absolutely free of cost. It is located
directly opposite the main terminal building and contains
a total of 177 spaces for cars, 98 spaces for rental cars
and 8 spaces for buses and coaches.
For long term parking, you must inform the airport authority,
you can reach them at
0034 968 172 000. Besides if you want a hassle free holiday
you can always contact the private Murcia Airport Transfers,
and leave your car at home instead of the Murcia Airport car
park.
Disabled Facilities:
The airport has facilities for disabled passengers like ramps,
lifts, specially adapted telephones, and toilets. Wheelchairs
are provided by airlines and airline staff can also help wheelchair
passengers through customs and immigration; passengers should
request any special assistance upon booking a ticket. Disabled
car parking spaces are available.

Taxi:
The airport has a taxi rank just outside the Terminal building
which is generally not too crowded due to the airport size
being small.
People traveling to the Murcia Airport mostly take Murcia
Airport taxis or book a Private Murcia Airport Transfer as
there are no Buses or Trains at this Airport.
The taxis generally carry 4 people including children; therefore,
if you are traveling with a family consisting of more than
4 members then is advisable to book a Transfer in advance.
