Transportation
Rail: Malpensa Express trains shuttles between
Terminal 1 and Milano Cadorna Station and takes about 40 minutes
to reach central Milan.
Shuttle: The Malpensa Shuttle runs from both
the terminals to Milano Centrale Station and stops on request
at the conferences and exhibition centres at the time of Milan
fair events.
Taxi: are available from outside Arrivals at both terminals.
Bus: Buses run from both terminals to Milano
Centrale Station. Bus services are also available to Linate
Airport, Sesto and Torino.

Location: located about 7km from the city.
Linate Airport is the city airport due to its vicinity to
Milan; it is generally used for domestic and short-haul international
flights. Its name has been inspired from the small town where
it is located. Its real name is "Airport Enrico Forlanini",
from the Italian inventor and aeronautical pioneer born in
Milan.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
Airport and tourist information desks are situated on the
ground floor of the terminal. There is also an information
desk on the first floor check-in hall.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Eating and drinking:
There are bars and snack bars throughout the airport.
There are self-service restaurants on the first and second
floors. There is also a café and a tea room on the
second floor
Shopping:
There are a wide range of shops throughout the airport; duty-free
shops can be found in the International Departures areas.
Parking:
The airport is facilitated with three car parking zones. The
ones in north and west provide cheaper long-term parking and
there is a multi-storey car park. Car washing, valet and small
repairs services are also provided.
Disabled Facilities:
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located at the airport,
as well as lifts to all floors. Passengers requiring special
assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline prior
to travel. The Lounge Amica is available for passengers requiring
assistance, and is located on the first floor, in the Domestic
check-in hall.
Transportation
Taxi - Taxis are available from the airport
to the city centre.
Bus - There is bus service available to the
city centre and the Piazza San Babila underground station.
Rail - There is a bus service to the Milan
underground, connecting at San Babila Station, as well as
service connecting to Milan Central Station.
Road - There is regular bus service to city
centre and the Piazza San Babila underground station.
From the city centre, take Via XXII Marzo and Viale Corsica
to reach the airport. If coming off the ring road take the
Linate exit. The airport links to the northern Italy road
network as follows; Autostrada 8 leads to north Milan and
Varese, Autostrada 4 leads to Milan and to Novara, west of
Milan, and the P41 leads to Switzerland via Como, Autostrada
1 leads southeast to Piacenza, and the Autostrada 7 leads
south to Genoa. Bear in mind most of these routes are toll
roads.
