INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
The information counters are placed at the Arrivals and Departures
halls along with a tourist information counter in the Arrivals
hall.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money and communications:
The airport has a Bureaux de change in the Departures and
Arrivals areas, thus making it easy for travelers to exchange
money.
Eating and drinking:
There is a wide range of restaurants, snack bars, cafes, and
fast food outlets in the Departures area, besides; there are
two cafes/snack bars in the Upper Level Lounge serving a selection
of drinks, and hot/cold snacks.
Shopping:
The duty-free shopping facility entices all the visitors and
Gibraltar Airport does not leave anybody unsatisfied. Passengers
can experience a service combined with total luxury while
choose from a range of jewellery, watches, perfumes, leather
and electronic goods, as well as tobacco, wines, and spirits
located at the Departures lounge,
Other facilities:
An insurance desk is located at the check-in area. There are
baby care areas, a first aid room in the Arrivals area, and
showers at the Departures boarding lounge.
Display screens are available throughout the Terminal with
up-to-the-minute flight information. The staffs offer friendly
and personalized attention to the Club Class passengers and
other guests by offering complementary drinks, newspapers,
and services at the Peninsula Lounge.
DISABLED FACILITIES
Attended by a devoted ground squad, passengers are left to
feel at ease with caring thoughts. The airport has facilities
for disabled passengers like ramps, lifts, specially adapted
telephones, and toilets. Wheelchairs are provided by airlines
and the staff can also help wheelchair passengers through
customs and immigration; passengers wanting to avail such
facilities or any special assistance should request upon booking
a ticket. Disabled car parking spaces are available. There
are two lifts to take passengers to different levels.
Flight information, tourist information, hotel reservations,
car-rental, exchange bureau, left luggage facilities, all
can be arranged for visitors by the friendly airport staff.
Transportation
Car hire:
Some of the best car rental companies provide service
at the airport at affordable prices. The car parking is just
opposite the terminal building for both long and short term.
Passengers must book their car hire service at the terminal
much in advance though. Besides, passengers traveling to Spain
from the airport must hire a car or Spanish taxi from the
border as Gibraltar taxis are not allowed to enter Spain
By Bus:
The airport is well connected with Bus service almost
every 30 minutes to town and cost somewhere around £0.50/10-15
minutes. The bus stop is located on the Gibraltar side of
the border, opposite the airport terminal entrance.
By Limo:
Passengers wishing to travel in style can book for quality
limo service in Gibraltar airport itself. With a fleet of
