| The airport, one of the principal
air hubs for Scotland and Highland is located 14km (9 miles)
east of Inverness. If you are traveling from the center of Inverness,
take the A96 towards Aberdeen and follow signs for the airport.
While from the east, take the A96 towards Inverness to Gollanfield
and follow signs for the airport. From the north and south,
take the A9 towards Inverness and follow signs for the airport.
The airport provides quality service to passengers and simultaneously
contributes to development of the Region and of tourism in
general. Free shuttle buses run between the two terminals.
There are car parks directly linked to the terminal by lift
or travelator. There are also cheaper car parks serving both
terminals, linked to the terminals by a free shuttle.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
The information desk (tel: (0)1667 464 000) is located in
the center of the main concourse.
AIRPORT FACILITIES
Money and communications:
There are banks and ATMs located nearby at the terminal.
Eating and drinking:
There are several restaurants and food outlets at the airport
open during flight operations, and one airside bar/cafe.
Shopping:
There are shops at the airport, including a bookshop and duty
free shops.
Luggage:
The left-luggage lockers are not available due to security
precautions. There are lost and found offices in the terminal.
Other facilities:
There is a photo booth. First aid treatment is available from
the information desk.
DISABLED FACILITIES
The airport terminal is on one level only and has facilities
for disabled passengers like disabled parking, disabled toilets,
and drop off area. There is also disabled access through revolving
doors. Personal assistance, wheelchairs, and an ambulift are
also available; passengers should contact the airline with
which they are traveling. Additional assistance and first
aid treatment is available from the information desk.
