The airport is
located on Hollywood Way and is the nearest to Hollywood and central
Los Angeles. It can be accessed via the Golden State Hwy-5. From
Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles, take Hollywood Hwy-101 northbound,
which leads into Hollywood Hwy-170. Turn right into Victory Boulevard
and then left into Hollywood Way.
Both the Terminals; A and B are situated in the same building and
are within walking distance from each other.
INFORMATION AND HELP DESKS
An information desk is centrally located in Terminal A. Courtesy
telephones are situated in each gate area and in other areas of
the terminal.
CAR PARKING
The Airport has both Short-term and long-term parking. Short Term
parking is at a four-storey car park opposite the airport entry
road, in front of the main terminal. Long-term parking is available
at economy car parks A, B and C, and there is a free shuttle between
the economy car parks and the terminal building. Recorded 24-hour
parking information (tel: (818) 840 8837) is available. Valet parking
is available from directly in front of the main terminal entrance.
Money and communications: A bank is situated at
the main entrance near the economy car park C. There are ATMs located
around the terminal. terminal building.
Eating:
There are various snack bars and restaurants inside the terminal.
Shopping:
There are various gift shops within the terminal, including newsagents.
Luggage: There is a lost property service, for
more information, contact the information desk at the terminal A.
Other facilities: There is a shoeshine service.
DISABLED FACILITIES
Wheelchairs are available from individual airlines, as well as from
airport staff until check-in. Passengers are however advised to
book a wheelchair in advance from the airline when purchasing a
ticket. Disabled toilets and telephones are also available. Disabled
car parking is available in the airport car parks; porters are on
hand to assist with baggage. Staffs at the airport information desk
are trained to understand basic sign language and can provide assistance
to passengers with special needs.
AIRPORT HOTELS
The Hilton Burbank Airport & Convention Centre (tel: (818) 843
6000) is situated opposite the main entrance to the airport and
is connected to the airport terminal by shuttle bus. Nearby hotels
include the Hilton Glendale & Executive Meeting Centre (tel:
(818) 956 5466), Ramada Inn Burbank Airport (tel: (818) 843 5955)
and Travelodge Burbank (tel: (818) 845 2408).
